Water Separator

RS Blastech's water/moisture separators fit to the air inlet of all of our blast pots.  To reduce the abrasive from getting damp, it's an essential part in keeping the blast pot efficient, minimising blockages and loss of production.

The water separator uses a combination of 2 methods -

• The air is spun and the centrifugal force causes oil / water to collect on the inside of the bowl to be drained away.
• A sintered bronze element collects debris and particles.

These filters can only remove condensed water (they cannot remove water vapour as a gas).
It is recommended that the air is as cool as possible before it reaches the filter so any water
vapour has condensed into a liquid.

Two common sizes are available:
1/2" outlet for small pots
1.1/2"outlet for large pots
